The Ghan travels over 2,979km's from Adelaide to Darwin with off rail expeditions at Alice Springs and Katherine. This unforgettable train holiday takes you through the heart of Australia's outback via the Flinders Ranges and into Alice Springs. As you head further north you'll witness the landscape turn from ochre to lush green as you enter the Top End. Stop off at Katherine for a gorge cruise before ending in Darwin.
