Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge
The Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge is the closest and most comfortable place to stay when visiting the park. The entrance to Denali National Park is located only 1.6kms away. Whether or you've come from an Alaskan Princess Cruise or not, this lodge is a great place to stay whilst visiting Denali. With an expansive deck overlooking the Nenana River with views into the park, Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge is the ideal spot to relax. The hotel spans over 25 acres and has four restaurants plus a number of cafes to grab a quick breakfast on the go. Take a stroll along the river walk or pick up some unique Christmas decorations from one of the many gift shops. Or better still, try some of the Alaskan crab legs at one of the many restaurants available.
You haven’t fully experienced the richness of Alaska unless you’ve been to Denali National Park. Its boundaries encompass an impressive six million acres — to give you an aussie comparison, that's like 35% of the size of Tasmania - it's big. Home to Denali are some of North America’s highest peaks, measuring in at 6190 metres high. The Park hosts an array of wildlife from moose, caribou, dall sheep and grizzly bears to gray wolves and red foxes. Your challenge is to spot them in that expansive space.
